Conceptual portraits taken within a forgotten environment .

When taking portraits the typical focus is on the individual within the frame. How they are dressed, their expression, and demeanor are not just indicative of their preferred aesthetic  but also of their character. I believe an environment used in conjunction with the subject further adds to story of that character and implies a narrative to what otherwise would be simply headshots.

There is something sadly beautiful upon retrospectively recognizing just how hard

you've been on yourself in contrast to how your

family and friends treat you.
